What is the easiest way to create worked maths examples for students?
Type them the way you would write them on the board. In TypeMaths each step is a line, Enter copies the line down so the next step starts from the last, and the equals signs stay aligned. A "+" adds the question wording as prose above any line, and the lines number themselves.
Can I make a worksheet with properly formatted equations?
Yes — a TypeMaths page is a worksheet. Numbered questions, prose lines for the wording, and typeset working underneath: fractions, roots, integrals, matrices, chemical equations with the right arrows. Export it as .tex, or flip to screenshot mode for clean black-on-white typesetting to paste into a handout.
Do I have to write LaTeX?
No. Type sqrt, int, pi, "/" for a fraction and "^" for a power and they typeset as you go. The LaTeX is a by-product: Copy LaTeX or Export .tex gives you the whole page as amsmath whenever you want it in your own documents.
How do I get it into a handout or slides?
Screenshot mode renders the page as clean black-on-white typesetting to paste into Word, Google Docs, PowerPoint or a slide. For LaTeX documents, Copy LaTeX puts the page on your clipboard as an align* block, or Export .tex downloads it.
Can students work through it themselves?
Share a read-only link to your page and students can follow the steps in their browser. The worksheet library has ready-made sheets — quadratics, the chain rule, definite integrals, SUVAT, balancing equations, row reduction — that students copy into their own page and that check their answers.
Does it cover chemistry and physics?
Yes. Reaction and equilibrium arrows are relations, the same as = and ≤, so a balanced equation lines up like any other working. Physics rearrangements evaluate with your choice of angle unit and decimal places.
